hujan panas...

dah lama dah nak merasa buat nasi ni. hehehe. actually takder lah makan nasi sangat...tapi teringat dulu2 makan nasi hujan panas dari majlis kenduri kahwin kat rumah area mak uda, smp lah sekarang teringat2 nasi hujan panas tu punya kesedapan. so aritu tgk2...ada kwn yg belajar kat New Zealand, upload resipi and pic nasi hujan panas dia. perghhhhhhhhhh apa lg sabtu lepas try lah buat.

resipi nasi hujan panas:

Ingredients :

3 cups Basmathi rice ~ washed and put through a strainer (Basmathi yg paling sesuai)

To saute :

Cinnamon stick (1- ukuran sederhana kulit kayu manis)
Cardamon (3 -buah pelaga)
Cloves (3- bunga cengkih)
Star anise (3 - bunga lawang)
3 shallots ~ sliced
2 cloves garlic ~ sliced
3 tablespoons ghee
(ni option...sy xmasukkan ghee...xnak berlemak sgt! hehee...)
3 tablespoon butter (ni sy guna butter utk replacekan ghee)

**** klau nk guna ghee & butter - sukatan nya adalah 2 ts ghee + 1 ts butter******

1 cup fresh milk
(ader org guna evaporated..tp sy lg suka fresh milk)
2 cups water

** panduan utk nasi: klau awak guna 3 cups rice, so rationyer adalah 1:2 (fresh milk: water)...klau guna evaporated milk, rationyer adalah 1/2:2 1/2 (evaporated milk:water)****

1 screwpine leaf (daun pandan) - ni option (sy xletak)
food coloring : red, green and yellow
salt

Method :

1. Heat a pot and add in the butter
2. Add in the star anise, cinnamon stick, cardamon, cloves, shallots and garlic. Fry till fragrant.
3. Add in water,fresh milk, salt. Stir well.
4. Then...put them into the rice cooker with the Basmathi rice and leave to cook.
5. When almost ready,(bila button cook change to warm) put a few drops of coloring on several parts of the rice. Do not stir.
6. Leave it for a while, (bila da agak2 nak masak tu...stir to mix them.





agak senang lah nak buat nyer. hehehe...yg leceh tu nak buat lauk2 dia jer. so endup lawan kan dgn ayam masak merah jer, and buat salad style morocco...pastu buat goreng kan kubis dgn ikan bilis tumbuk. alhamdulillah...boleh lah makan. sedap ke tak sedap tu...Wallahua'alam...for me as long as boleh masuk tekak, ok lah tu. :). aritu just tercampak coloring hijau byk lak...tu yg nasi jd hijau bebenau. huhuhu...kalau abah nmpk nasi tu...confirmed abah takmo makan. sbb color hijau! ahahaha...

pastu skrg...minat bebenau nak main masak2. asyik tukar2 resipi dgn mak n kwn2 je. dulu lagi lah...bila musim MasterChef Malaysia tgh on air...ari2 lah buka website MasterChef tu cari resipi. and so far dah tried a few...mcm Umai Udang Sarawak, Baklava with Coscous and Mango and a few lain yg tak ingat. hehehe.

Asam Pedas Melaka Ikan Sea Bass (resipi mak-finally dpt belajar)
Sotong Goreng Tepung and Kubis Goreng
Umai Udang Sarawak

best gakkk dpt memasak kdg2 nie...jd therapy! jd lagi best bila jemput kwn2 makan and makanan sold out....hehehe.
